Clinical research, technical writing, layout design, graphics, independent and collaborative research, production and distribution.

I was instrumental in the entire project’s research, design, writing, layout, production, publication, advertising, and distribution strategy for Dominion Diagnostics, Alpharma, and Dominion’s Clinical Scientific Advisory Board. Collaboration and precision were essential to this project’s success.

This 96-page research publication and pocket guide handbook was a key tool containing highly technical writing and clinical information for Dominion’s primary customer audiences. Monitoring patient usage of scheduled controlled substances is a major concern and responsibility of prescribing clinicians in Addiction Medicine, Pain Management, and other specialties that Dominion’s laboratory & clinical services solutions support. The handbook was peer-reviewed and published by McMahon Publishing (Pain Medicine News, Anesthesiology News, et al.).

Utilizing Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator, this handbook’s design was a joint effort with other designers on my team. It was utilized in direct mail campaigns, distributed directly by Dominion Diagnostics and Pain Medicine News publications in print and digital format, and a highly sought-after resource at over 50 national, regional, and local trade shows and conferences annually.

Over 15 years after its publication, Dominion Diagnostics’ executive leadership, marketing, and sales teams still utilize this resource handbook. It is displayed prominently on the company’s website and is the top clinical resource for its customers at https://domdiag.com/research/. The thumbnails below represent a content selection.
